Frequently asked questions

 Is Bromham a private clinic?

Bromham Clinic is a private clinic and patients are required to pay a consultation fee. Many consultative services provided are subject to Medicare and Private Health Fund rebates. Outpatient services are provided in individual and group settings and we offer programmes for carers and families. Therapists at Bromham Clinic have close relationships with The Melbourne Clinic if inpatient services or step-down day programme facilities are required.

How do I make an appointment?

Our friendly administrative staff will guide you through the process of making an appointment with our therapeutic team. Please call on 94270642 to enquire. A referral from your GP is required when making an appointment with our psychiatrists.

Is there parking nearby?

Ample parking can be found in the streets surrounding the clinic.

What is an Eating Disorder Plan?

Changes introduced by the Australian Government on November 1st 2019 mean that individuals with a diagnosed eating disorder can now access greater services for evidence based treatment. This is known as an “Eating Disorder Plan” which will be created by your GP and may allow you to have up to 20 subsidised sessions with a dietician and 40 sessions with a Mental Health clinician (Psychologist, Mental Health Social Worker/Occupational Therapists.)

Please enquire with your GP about eligibility for such a plan. Our dietician Zarah is excited to be involved in such collaborative Eating Disorder Care.

What are the fees for our services?

Please enquire with our administrative staff.
