Areas of Care
At Bromham Clinic we offer Psychiatric Assessment and therapy, Psychological counselling, Social Work Assessments and Family Therapy. We offer tailored programmes to support carers and families.
Eating Disorder Therapy
Clinicians at Bromham Clinic offer Eating Disorders treatment in individual and group settings. We prioritise and value evidence based treatment and our therapists are skilled in offering CBTe, specialist supportive clinical management for AN, MANTRA, DBT skills, ACT and Interpersonal Therapy as well as group programmes for carers and families. We are mindful of the importance of medical stabilisation and nutritional rehabilitation in conjunction with psychological therapy and we offer both recovery focused treatment as well as treatment focused on minimisation of harm.
We value the benefit of clear and transparent communication to optimise treatment outcomes and we work closely with GP practices to facilitate highly coordinated care within the treatment team.
Dietetic Therapy
Accredited Practising Dieticians (APDs) are University qualified experts in nutrition and dietetics who have the skills and experience to translate scientific nutrition information into practical dietary advice. Using a collaborative, client centred approach, dietetic therapy can help establish a positive relationship with food and eating, to enable a life that is fun, free and flexible.
A dietetic consult isn’t just about a meal plan (although these can be very helpful when used correctly!). It is about exploring your nutrition status, preferences and personal circumstances, to make goals that are realistic and maintainable, and help reduce the risk of illness.
At Bromham Clinic we can help provide support and advice for people with a wide range of clinical issues including (but not limited to);
